This page is an opportunity to meet some of the members of the fellowship.
Robert Carter is our resident ordained mission leader. As well as leading our spiritual life, this involves a certain amount of paperwork. Here Robert is preparing for a committee meeting.
Tina Woodhouse is one of our Church Wardens (or pro-Wardens for the pedantic), here undertaking the essential bureaucratic job of filling in and signing the register of services. Since we don't have a separate vestry or office, this is done at the back of church.
Val Whittaker is a lay reader and often leads the services or preaches and is our main contact with the stipendary ministry. Here she is doing a reading from the bible presented to the church in 2003 in memory of Alex Campbell, a faithful member of the congregation for many years.
Alison Taylor is also a lay reader and keyboard player in the music group. Here she is introducing one the popular Light Lunches that we hold on the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 12:30 to 2:00. As the name implies a light lunch is served, usually soup or a jacket potato and cake and a selected Christian topic is discussed.
Left to right this photograph shows John Smith, Sue Kenney and Ian Kenney who form three quarters of our small but enthusiastic music group, here preparing for a spirited rendition of "Shine Jesus, Shine".
The Church runs Alpha courses for new Christians from time to time. Andrea Beeston helps prepare refreshments for the course. Andrea is also a lay reader and frequently preaches and leads our worship.
